Owens, W. Wanda Lee, 77, of New Martinsville, WV died Monday, January 10, 2011 at Wetzel County Hospital.

Wanda was born October 31, 1933 in New Martinsville, WV daughter of the late George and Elva Billiter Henry.

She was a homemaker; manger of Avon and Yogi Bear Campgrounds, loved camping and traveling, enjoyed visits to the Amish Country, breast cancer survivor and member of the Paden Ford Chapel Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James T. Spencer; son, Terry Spencer and infant daughter, Mary Spencer.

Surviving are her husband of forty-three years, Ernest "Ernie" Owens; two sons, Tom (Joanie) Spencer of State College, PA and Tony (Ulyana) Spencer of Troy, OH; two daughters, Lisa (Tim) Heslep of Smyrna, TN and Robin Spencer of Paden City, WV; daughter-in-law, Nova Spencer of Bellefonte, PA; eight sisters, Violet Knowlton of Fly, OH, Rose Wells of New Martinsville, WV, Maggie (Dick) May of PA, Pearl Probst of New Martinsville, WV, Perie Haught of Friendly, WV, Pansy (Bud) Raper of Paden City, WV, Nancy (Bill) Leasure of New Martinsville, WV and Joyce (Frank) Long of Maryville, TN; eight grand children and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Jarvis-Williams Funeral Homes in Paden City, WV where funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, January 14, 2011.

Interment in Paden Memorial Gardens in Paden City, WV.
