Thompson, Mae Ruth Patterson, 91, of San Bernardino, CA formerly of New Martinsville while surrounded by her children: Richard, Janie, Judi, Priscilla and Terry, went to her Lord in Heaven, Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014.

Mae was born March 17, 1923 in New Martinsville, WV daughter of the late Frank James and Jessie Wise Patterson

Graduated Magnolia High School in 1942, worked for the DOD in Washington, D.C. during WWII, a Rosie the Riveter. Moved to San Bernardino, CA in 1952, a seventy-two year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, member of St. Paul's UMC, worked as a Nurse's Aid for St. Bernadine's Hospital.

In addition to her parents, she survived her three husbands and two brothers, John D. Patterson (2012) and Kenneth Patterson.

She was loved by her children: Richard (Peggy) Mason, Jane (Sam) Kirk, Judi (Alan) Doctor, Priscilla Mason and Terry Mason, plus Bob, Dottie, Stan and forty-eight grand children.

Graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
