Obituary for Ronald ""Clutch"" Dawson

Dawson, Ronald D "Clutch", 80, years of age, of New Martinsville, WV went to be with Jesus Tuesday, September 30, 2014 while in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Ronald was born June 6, 1934 in Pennsboro, WV son of the late Homer and Louise (McPeek) Dawson.

He was a retired electrician for the former Ormet, U.S. Army veteran, huge fan of WVU and Pirates and member of the New Martinsville Church of God.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Todd Wesley Dawson.

Surviving are his wife of fifty-eight years, Carole Dawson; two sons, Mike Dawson of Harrisville, WV and Patrick (Kim) Dawson of Waterford, OH; daughter, Kim (Jeff) Carr of Highland Village, TX; eleven grandchildren, Kevin (Jenna) Carr, Kristin (Tyler) Jackson, Dana (Johnny) Cliff, Megan Dawson, Rachel (Jonathan) Ramey, Ashley Dawson, Bethany Dawson, Bethany Dailey, Hannah Dailey, Brendon Dailey and Holden Dailey and two great grandchildren, Ella and Norah.

Friends received 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville. Funeral Service 11 a.m., Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the New Martinsville Church of God with Pastors Mick Frye and Dave Snyder co-officiating.

Interment to follow in Ellenboro Masonic Cemetery in Ellenboro, WV.
