John H. Ice Jr.
John H. Ice, Jr., 59, of Paden City, WV went home to his Lord on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at his home while surrounded by his family.

John was born March 24, 1956 in Sistersville, WV son of the late John H. and Virginia (Hutchinson) Ice.

He was an elementary teacher at Paden City Elementary for over 36 years, a 1974 graduate of Paden City High School, a 1978 graduate of West Liberty State College, Social Studies Fair Coordinator for 34 years, volunteer for the former Paden City Emergency Squad and served one term as President, former dispatcher for the Paden City Police Dept., past member of the Paden City Band Patrons, 1998 Wetzel County Teacher of the Year and member of the Paden City Church of the Nazarene where he also served as choir member, sound technician and a Board Member.

Surviving are his wife of thirty-seven years, Donna G. (Eller) Ice; daughter, Danielle (Joel) Ice-Davis, III of Paden City, WV; brother, Mark A. (Jodi) Ice of Hurricane, WV; sister, Debbie (Rick) Yurisko of Paden City, WV; three special canine companions, Daisy Mae, Dudley and DJ; two grand dogs; a grand bird; two nieces, Vicki (Chris) and Cassie and three nephews, Rob, Robert and Zach.

Friends received 1-4 and 6-8 Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the Paden City Church of the Nazarene where he will lay in state from 9 a.m. until time of service at held 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2015 with his brother, Rev. Mark A. Ice officiating.

Interment to follow in Paden Memorial Gardens in Paden City, WV.

Arrangements entrusted to Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home of Paden City.
