Obituary for Marla Faye Neff (Rockwell)

Marla Neff, 62, of Paden City, WV went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, December 26, 2015.

Marla was born July 17, 1953 in New Martinsville, WV daughter of Paul and Wanda (Feist) Rockwell.

She was a nursery school teacher starting out on her own as Mrs. Marla’s and later working at Kid’s Space, she was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking meals for her family, picnics, gardening, family get togethers, growing flowers, bird watching, attending her grandchildren’s events and activities, member of the Pine Street Church of Christ and she enjoyed living her life by knowing it is more blessed to give than it is to receive.

Surviving in addition to her parents, are her husband of forty-four years on December 24th, Chris L. Neff; two sons, Chris P. (Denise) Neff of Paden City, WV and Todd (Andrea) Neff of Fort Mill, SC; daughter, Leslie (Chris) Elliott of Paden City, WV; two sisters, Denda (Dr. David) Martino of Columbus, OH and Lisa (Dave) Bohrer of Winston Salem, NC; the lights of her life her grandchildren, Kyle, Amber, Kolton, Aubrey, Isaac, Bella and Jake and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends receive 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, December 28, 2015 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Paden City Church of Christ with Jeremy Joy and Brian Price co-officiating.

Interment to follow in Paden Memorial Gardens in Paden City, WV.
