Obituary for Ronald Farley

Ronald Glenn Farley, 52, of Proctor, WV was called home Tuesday, February 2, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Ronald was born October 18, 1963 in Huntington, WV, son of the late Gene and Louise (Swim) Farley.

He loved fishing, hunting, playing the guitar and writing music and he attended Gravel Hill Baptist Church near Fly, OH.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Farley and two nephews, Greg Patierno and Nathan McPeek; niece, Camdyn Farley and grandson, Stephon Ross.

Surviving are two sons, John Farley of Lexington, KY and Jereme Ross of Sistersville, WV; daughter, Crystal Rudd of Berea, KY; two brothers, Rick (Nancy) Farley of Sardis, OH and James Farley of Mississippi; sister, Teresa Farley of Hopewell, VA; two grandchildren Anthony Rudd and Zachary Rudd and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, February 5, 2016 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV where service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, February 6, 2016 with Pastor David Michael officiating.

Interment to follow in Northview Cemetery in New Martinsville, WV.
