Fravel Smith "Rod"  Null
“F.S. or Rod” Fravel Smith Null, 75, of Paden City, WV passed away Monday, April 11, 2016 at his home.

Rod was born November 22, 1940 in Marmet, WV, son of the late Earl and Dorothy (Menninger) Null.

He was a retired WV State Police Captain with 23 years of service, retired security officer for Bayer, a U.S. Army veteran during Vietnam, member of Northern Mountaineer Bass Club, former member of the Wetzel Masonic Lodge #39 A.F. & A.M., New Martinsville Moose Lodge #931 and he loved hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Eloise Wolfe and son-in-law, Mike Jacobs.

Surviving are two sons, Tim Null of Woodbine, MD and Eric (Tammy) Null of Newell, WV; four daughters, Lisa Smith of Greenville, SC, Pam Jacobs of Nitro, WV, Stacy (Oscar) Izaguirre of Cincinnati, OH and Lana (Mike) Summers of Pine Grove, WV; two brothers, Delano Null of VanBuren, AR and David Null of Cross Lanes, WV; nineteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren and several nephews and cousins.

At “Rod’s” request services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Interment in Paden Memorial Gardens in Paden City, WV.
