Walter Robert  Dillaman
Walter R. Dillaman, 87, of Paden City, WV went peacefully to meet his Lord on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 while at his home.

Walter was born January 16, 1929 in Shinnston, WV, son of the late Alfred Phillip and Iva (Gifford) Dillaman.

He was a retired employee of Bayer Corp, a proud U.S. Army veteran who served his country during the Korean Conflict, loved antiques, wood working and his family and member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Paden City, WV.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, Ruth Dillaman (2014); two sisters and four brothers.

Surviving are two sons, Mark Dillaman of Middlebourne, WV and Don (Billie) Dillaman of Paden City, WV; seven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; a special grand dog, Sophie and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received from noon until time for the Celebration of his life at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City, WV.

Interment to be held at the convenience of the family in Paden Memorial Gardens in Paden City, WV.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made, in Walter’s name, to Journey Hospice, 314 S Wells St., Sistersville, WV 26175.

The family would to extend a special thank you to his caregivers, Mary Bennett, Amy Morris, Allie Price, Karen Shreves and Brandy Clark.
