Obituary for Jacque Lee Chapman (Norwood)
Jacque Lee Chapman, 81, of New Martinsville, WV went home to be with her Lord on Friday, June 17, 2016 while at Sistersville General Hospital.
Jacque was born in Ingleside, TX, daughter of the late Mack and Marguerite (Flesher) Norwood.
She was a former tax preparer for H&R Block and prior to that she worked for the former Herrick’s, IGA in New Martinsville, loved her grandkids and working crossword puzzles and member of the Faith Temple Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Alza Greenwalt and Goldie Fairfax.
Surviving are her husband of sixty years, Bill Chapman; four sons, Stephen (Linda) Chapman of St. Clairsville, OH, Tim Chapman of Chicago, IL, David “Doc” (Pam) Chapman of New Martinsville, WV and Bill (Cathy) Chapman of Geneva, IL; two brothers, Alfred (Sarah) Norwood of Cinn., OH and Joe David (Sandy) Norwood of CT; six grandchildren, Trevor Chapman, Alicia (Brandon) Wood, Alexis (Joe) Reeder, Mallory Chapman, Kelsi Lee Chapman and Wyatt Chapman and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, WV.
Memorial contributions may be made, in Jacque’s name, to Journey Hospice, 314 S Wells St., Sistersville, WV 26175.
