Leota R. Morris, 80, of New Martinsville, WV died Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at her home.

Leota was born May 1, 1936 in Hundred, WV, daughter of the late Wm Earl and Lillian (Snider) McGlumphy.

She was a homemaker and member of Duffy Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Jefferson “Jeff” Morris (2001) and brother, Guy McGlumphy.

Surviving are her husband of sixty-two years, Melvin Morris; son, Greg (Beverly) Morris of Pine Grove, WV; granddaughter, Annette D Morris of New York, NY; daughter-in-law, Linda (Doug) Drymon of Ocala, FL; brother, Ralph “Kay” (Karen) McGlumphy of Lexington, NC and Phillip McKay of Sistersville, WV.

Friends received 4-7 p.m., Friday, August 19, 2016 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV where service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, August 20, 2016 with Scott Judge officiating.

Interment to follow in Paden Memorial Gardens in Paden City, WV.
