The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gary Ward can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Chris Bowen
Condolence: I just learned of Mr. Ward's passing and my heart breaks. This man made my mothers days a little brighter during her last few years. He always waved at her and in the spring and summer road his mower down the hillside and sat and talked to her for awhile. That was the true meaning of Christianity to make a persons last days happier and brighter. Ms. Ward and family hope you know what a ray of sunshine Mr. Ward was even if for a few seconds of a day. So sorry for your loss a truly good good man.

Condolence: I was so blessed to have Gary as my father in law. He certainly had my respect in how he conducted his life. His main focus in life was to make sure his family was taken care of. Many great memories of weekends at Seneca Lake and evenings shooting the breeze on the back porch. Gary loved to tease and we had lots of inside jokes. He was always the first one there when there was work to be done or a repair to make. He always listened when we had a problem or an important decision to make. He was very wise and I will miss his advice. In his last few weeks he tried so hard to do everything he could for himself and was so grateful to all who helped him. I am probably most grateful that my daughter Emily had such a close relationship with him. What a grandfather............
