Obituary for Eva Irene Johnson
Eva Irene Johnson, 72, of New Martinsville, WV died Wednesday, December 27, 2017 while at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Eva was born September 25, 1945 in New Martinsville, WV; daughter of the late Sherman Noland and Sarah (Harter) Loy.
She was a homemaker, loved working puzzles, rebuilding lawn mowers and playing ball and a member of the New Martinsville Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” Johnson, Sr.; daughter, Mary Wade; son, Richard “DJ” Johnson, Jr. and two sisters, Mary Lewis and Anna Dennis.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna (Charles) Schramm and Kimberly (Colin) Coulter both of New Martinsville, WV; four grandchildren, Sarah (Aaron) Cogar, Eva (Donald) Henry, Richard Johnson, III. and Elizabeth Johnson; five great grandchildren, Stephen, Alex, Vanessa, Nick and Nathan; brother, Bob (Sue) Loy of Florida; special baby, Coco and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, where services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017.
Interment to follow in Paden Memorial Gardens.
