Obituary for James Robert Cline

James Robert Cline, 84, of Paden City, WV died Sunday, March 4, 2018 while at the Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville, OH.

Jim was born February 25, 1934 in Paden City, WV; son of the late Charles and Mildred Cline.

He was retired from the former Conalco in Hannibal, OH and he was a U.S. Army veteran 1956-1958.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Mary Jane Cline; daughter, Jodenna Cline; two brothers, Wallace Cline and Doug Cline and sister, Diane Lamp.

Surviving are his children, Bob (Luann) Cline of Wilmington, NC and Joyce (Stan) Layman of Kearneysville, WV; brothers, Dave (Liz) Cline of Vienna, WV and Larry (Janet) Cline of Chardon, OH; sister, Shirley (Carl) Cummins of Perry, OH; grandchildren, Rob Cline, Cody Cline, Kait Layman and Troy Layman; great grandson, Robbie Cline and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home in Paden City, WV.

Interment in Paden Memorial Gardens to be held at the convenience of the family.

Special thank you goes to Jim’s niece, Tamara (Bryan) Hashman for opening up their home and taking wonderful Care of our father in the last year.
