God noticed his beautiful garden was missing a special flower. And after waiting for fifty-four years, on Thursday, April 19, 2018 he picked Sherry Lynn Keenan of New Martinsville, WV.

Sherry was born on March 4, 1964 in Fort Carson, CO; daughter of Lavena (Barr) Keenan Stoneking of New Martinsville, WV and the late Robert H. Keenan.

She was a previous employee of the former Adena Industries; she adored her nephews, loved collecting and wearing ear rings, at Mapleshire enjoyed making crafts and playing games and a member of the Proctor Church of Christ.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Charlie Ray Stoneking.

Surviving in addition to her mother are her sister, Debbie (Bob) Roach of Fairmont, WV; two nieces, Sara Beth (Jonathan) Carpenter and April Marie Mollendick both of Fairmont, WV; two special great nephews, Logan and Alex Carpenter; step-brother, David (Kate) Stoneking of Jasper, GA and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends received 2-7 p.m., Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV where service will be held 1 p.m., Sunday, April 22, 2018 with Dwight Williams officiating.

Interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, WV.

The entire family would like to thank the employees of Mapleshire for the excellent care they provided for Sherry.
