Obituary for Xie Lee Goddard (Willoughby)
Xie Lee Goddard, 85, of New Martinsville, WV died Thursday, May 17, 2018 while at Wetzel County Hospital.
Xie was born June 2, 1932 in Proctor, WV; daughter of the late Holley and Louisa (Workman) Willoughby.
She was a retired sales clerk for the former Fisher’s Big Wheel, enjoyed sewing and raising flowers and a member of Bridge Street Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Goddard.
Surviving are her two daughters, Veronica P. (David) Eddy and Glenna K. (Dana) Barrick both of New Martinsville, WV; brother, Harold Willoughby of Pine Grove, WV; four sisters, Eleanor Tuttle of Proctor, WV, Verna Yoho of Paden City, WV, Lennice Goddard and Sharon Lawrence; three grandchildren, David Eddy, Amanda Eddy and Anna Barrick and a great-granddaughter, Clara Eddy.
Friends received 6-8 p.m., Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV where service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, May 21, 2018 with Paolo DiLuca officiating.
Interment to follow in Northview Cemetery in New Martinsville, WV.
Memorial contributions may be made, in Xie’s name, to Bridge Street Church of Christ, 1139 South Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV 26155.
