Ritchie, Elda M. Winland Loy, 83, of New Martinsville, WV passed away December 15, 2011 in the New Martinsville Health Care Center.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Curtis Loy; second husband, Thomas Ritchie; son, David Loy; her parents, Grover and Odella Winland; step-mother, Lona Winland; two brothers, Dory and Ray Winland; two half brothers, David and Herbert Winland; daughter-in-law, Mary Loy; sister, Merldine Loy.

Surviving are three sons, Donald Loy of Greenfield, IN, Roger Loy of Indianapolis, IN, Charles Scott Loy of New Martinsville, WV; daughter, Faye Ann (Ross) Schoonover of Sardis, OH; granddaughter, Joanna Taylor of IN; two grandsons, Mike Schoonover of Fly, OH, and Ronnie Schoonover of New Martinsville, WV; four great-granddaughters, Jessica Schoonover of Fly, OH, Ashleigh Cousert, Amber Reid and Kayla Thurman all of IN; great-grandson, Joey Reid of Michigan; great-great granddaughter, Zoe Cousert of TX; two brothers, Dan (Cloy) Winland of New Martinsville, WV, and Lee Winland of Sistersville, WV; two sisters, Grace (Chuck) Scott of New Martinsville, WV and Thelma Hartline of Belpre, OH; three half -sisters, Bernadine Winland, Claudine Winland  of New Martinsville. WV and Nancy (Bob) Cecil of Paden City, WV; step-brother, Bernard Knight of Sardis, OH.

Friends received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, December 18, 2011 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, New Martinsville, WV where funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Monday, December 19, 2011 with Pastor Cathy Harman officiating.

Interment in Sardis Cemetery, Sardis, Ohio.
