Obituary for Wanda Lea Harlan (Lemons)
Wanda Lea Harlan, 93, of New Martinsville, WV died Thursday, July 12, 2018 at her home while surrounded by her family.
Wanda was born July 23, 1924 in New Martinsville, WV; daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (McCoy) Lemons.
She was a homemaker, a retired Etcher for the former Viking Glass Co with twenty-seven years of service, member of the American Flint Glass Workers Union and loved to cook and crochet.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Willey, Marjorie Zesiger and Betty Powell.
Surviving are her husband, Aaron “Andy” Harlan; son, Gary (Judy) Lemons and daughter, Judy (Joe) LeMasters both of New Martinsville, WV; seven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Wanda’s request there will be no services.
Burial in Northview Cemetery in New Martinsville, WV.
Memorial contributions may be made, in Wanda’s name, to Open Door Ministries, P.O. Box 125, New Martinsville, WV 26155.
